Born Niagara Falls, New York, August 16, 1956. Mr. Fisher's practice focuses on mass torts, personal injury, products liability, and commercial litigation in a wide range of contexts. He is especially expert in the management, discovery and prosecution of document-intensive, complex litigation involving scientific, economic and regulatory issues. He has been and is currently involved in a number of nation - and state-wide pharmaceutical mass torts - including, most recently, as a court-appointed member of the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the Chantix Multi-District Litigation as of January 2010 -- but he also represents individual plaintiffs in serious personal injury cases. He has appeared and tried cases in numerous federal and state courts throughout the United States. He also has significant experience in alternative dispute resolution, including arbitrations on behalf of policyholders seeking insurance coverage and mediations in bankruptcy-related disputes. Mr. Fisher has been an invited speaker on mass tort issues at national litigation conferences, including Mealey's "Pharmaceutical Litigation SuperConference."

In addition, for many years, Mr. Fisher and his colleagues acted as national coordinating counsel for several defendants in the U.S. asbestos personal injury and property damage litigation. In this capacity, Mr. Fisher developed and implemented nationwide litigation strategy, oversaw counsel in jurisdictions throughout the U.S., and coordinated and participated in numerous trials, appeals and court proceedings. (Some of the decisions in which he was involved are reported at 624 So.2d 732 and 642 So.2d 851, 53 Cal Rptr. 2d 642, 663 A.2d 1358, and 673 A.2d 398 and 678 A.2d 363.)
